If the instrument is largely in good condition and requires only minor attention, your expert will likely recommend purchasing or taking it on. Naturally, an estimate of the approximate market value is included in the appraisal. Should the appraisal recommend a thorough repair, or even an exchange for another instrument, the appraisal fee will be fully deducted from the final price.
